The Okavango Delta (or Okavango Swamp), in Botswana, is the world’s largest inland delta. The delta provides a seasonal habitat to numerous different species. Among these are Elephants, Buffalo, Hippos, Lechwe, Crocodile, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Wild Dog, Spotted Hyena as well as over 400 species of birds. The Delta is a wildlife photographer’s dream with spectacular sunsets and wildlife encounters second to none. You will also have the chance to experience the Delta from the air on a scenic flight as well as from the water in a mokoro.
