Make all your adventures comfortable

With over 30 years of experience in the build and design of trailers and caravans, Conqueror, in partnership with Recce Inc., associated with the Recce Heritage Trust, designed, developed, and manufactured the ultimate beefed-up limited-edition Comfort Recce. It comes as no surprise that the Conqueror Comfort has won The Great Outdoor Guide’s, Off-road trailer of the year award in South Africa for three consecutive years.

The trailer impresses with a 2.5-ton solid beam axle with greaseable eye-to-eye shackle leaf springs and shocks that support the 16-inch alloy rims with All-Terrain tyres. Most people will tell you the most frustrating part of camping is setting up and packing up camp. This trailer takes a few minutes to set up the heavy-duty ripstop canvas tent and large bedroom floor area, as well as the 270-degree Insta Awning.

Another crucial area campers consider is the packing space – the Conqueror Comfort Recce surprise with its ample packing space. Upon opening the trailer doors, there are two easy to reach pull-out drawers; one of the drawers has two Ammo boxes, and there is more packing space below the drawers.  It also comes with a bar area, vanity cupboard, two wet bin compartments at the rear, cutlery drawer, and crockery storage. There is even more storage space in the form of a tent pole storage compartment, storage for a large camping table, a 610-liter nosecone with a storage rack on top and a fridge drawer slide with a SnoMaster 82.5l stainless-steel fridge.

Also, the Conqueror Comfort Recce offers an L-shape slide-out kitchen with integrated two plate gas burners and a dual basin. There is two Jerry can holders, dual gas bottle storage and dedicated grass slasher, axe, and spade mountings at the front.

This trailer offers amazing standard features such as a built-in instant hot water geyser, a 150-litre water tank and a 14.7V pressure pump, as well as shower housing on the outside with a shower tent. The 24A/14.7V intelligent charger integrated into an easy-to-use power control panel with an infographic display, charge measurement, water flow/level measurement, 31A DC/DC Boost and MPPT Solar controller. The LED lights of the trailer are mounted in the sleeping, kitchen, and drawer areas. Furthermore, the 12V Anderson plug and other plugs are all placed in easy-to-reach locations.

The trailer comes with a large king-size bed and a large bedroom floor area that can be converted into a sleeping area for children.

The Conqueror Comfort Recce is available from Conqueror Connection East Rand at R 382 354 (including VAT). The price includes a 270-degree Recce Insta-Awning, groundsheets, stainless-steel Recce branded braai grid fitted on spare wheel, 210-Watt foldable Solar panel, 150l water tank, a storage rack and more.

The family companion

Most people don’t understand us overlanding types. We prefer dusty campsites over five-star hotels, hard gravel roads over tar and long driving hours over a short flight. We name our cars and love and treasure them. The Oberholster family from Jeffrey’s Bay is no different.
